Associate Director Jon Mattison
Jon's education experience includes Bachelor of Music Education - Simpson College , Candidate for Master Music Education - Ohio University, Graduate of the Armed Forces Navy School Of Music, and Master of Educational Administration - The University of Akron.
His music experience includes serving as a member of the The United States Navy Sixth Fleet Show Band, Founder of the United States Navy Sixth Fleet Singers, Band and Choral Teacher Granville exempted Schools, Coshocton City Schools,Tri- Valley Local Schools, and Adjunct Faculty at the University of Mt Vernon Nazerene, Walsh University. Jon has performed with the Mason City Iowa Symphony, the Southeast Ohio Symphony, The Tuscarawas Philharmonic, Muskingum College Faculty Brass Quintet, Mt Vernon Nazarene University Faculty Brass Quintet, The Roscoe Brass, Coshocton Community Choir, Kent State Stark Symphonic Band, and Sound of Sousa Band. Amanda has been playing the piano since age six and collaborating with soloists since age twelve. She has expanded her abilities to a wide range of collaboration including vocalists and instrumentalists, various choirs and ensembles, bluegrass bands, and both traditional and contemporary church services. Currently, Amanda serves as full-time pianist to the Greater Canton Men’s Chorus, full-time piano teacher in Hudson, part-time pianist to vocal students at the University of Akron, and part-time church pianist at St. Mary’s of the Falls in Olmsted Falls, OH.
